Urban Residence Project: Impremta Garden
Building Architect: AVW Arquitectura (Alejandro von Waberer) – Palma, Mallorca
Interior Architects: Whyte Lilja – Stockholm, Sweden
Property Location: Palma, Mallorca, Spain
Every Impremta Garden‘s apartment is a unique architectural solution, resulting from a combination of the building’s 400-year history and uncompromised modern design. The heart of the property is a lush pool patio, attracting desired sunlight along with equally appreciated shade. Under the sky. Indoors. With leaves, trees, private balconies, water, plants, stone, light, stories and life shining bright through the entire concept.
The area around Impremta Garden is dominated by the most historical district of Palma’s Old Town, with an intriguing maze of alleys, back streets, galleries, restaurants and cafes. Mallorca is a treasure chest of exploration, also outside the city – with its varied topography, rural villages, hidden beaches and high mountains.
The kitchen and living room merge into a modern social space, facing inwards with large windows overlooking the garden, the pool or the street. The kitchen is ultra-modern and minimalistic; smooth, warm grey cabinet doors with integrated handles meet a sober stainless-steel island, fitted with premium appliances.
All bedrooms are space-optimized and rhyme with the aesthetics of the entire home, with a blend of wood and toned-down colors. These sleeping spaces are characterized by their coziness and inviting ambience, with functional storage in high-rise closets with detailed profiles that enhances the entire room’s uniqueness.
Bathrooms are created with a modern expression and a few selected materials, smart solutions, hidden storage and contrasting nuances – from black gun metal finish to warm stone.
Apartments with terraces will have access to unbelievable outdoor living, and some terraces offer a fantastic roof top experience with wide views over the city right in the midst of the lively quarters of Palma’s Old Town.
